worsted[edit]

Note that wurst, which ultimately comes from a sense "turn, twist", is unrelated to the superficially similar worsted ("type of yarn"), which one might guess comes from the same root (sounds similar, yarn long and produced by twisting, perhaps similarly to a sausage), but is instead from a place name.asfasdgf
