:I don't know about anyone else, but Google doesn't give me a preview of this page. As for the category, they seem to be an odd assortment of words from Old English and Old Norse with different morphological origins. Another example might be [[blessed]], which is pronounced as two syllables only in poetic and religious (i.e. archaic) usage (in poetry it's also spelled [[blessèd]]). That one is from Old French.
