If it is at all related to Icelandic {{term|héri|lang=is}}, then the Proto-Norse form would have been *hazo or *haza. That's great! I have moved the [[ᛖᚲ]]-quotations to [[[[ᛖᚲ]]]] (but left the [[ᛖᚳ]] quotations at [[[[ek]]]]).
